Who must comply?

ESOS applies to any UK large undertaking that on the Phase qualification date meets either criterion:

  • 250 or more employees
  • Annual turnover exceeding £44m and balance sheet over £38m
  • Part of a corporate group meeting these thresholds in aggregate

What does an ESOS assessment cover?
